Recently I came across an interesting personal project from Andrew Kim for Microsoft. Kim decided Microsoft was majorly in need of a rebrand. He set aside 3 days to work on a fresh logo and identity for the corporate giant and apply it across Microsoft’s range.
Obviously as a Graphic Design Student I am obliged to worship Apple and all of its products but actually I think Kim’s done a pretty good job! The ‘slate’ logo works particularly well on the products and combats the issue of perspective that Kim identifies as the main problem with their latest logo.

Although I’m sure entirely sure I like Kim’s decision to remove the tittle from Microsoft, I actually really like his concept and think it would give Microsoft a much needed boost.
