A Collection of Brilliant Packaging

Yet more award winners now, this time from The Dieline. I’ve chosen a selection of my favourites but the full list can be found here.

The Best in Show award went to The Creative Method for this gorgeous label for Alternative Organic Wine. Every part of the label was organic, a simple but beautifully executed design:

Stranger & Stranger took the Editor’s Choice Award for their self promotional spirit labels:

Landor‘s rebrand for Advanced Ice Cream Technologies came in Second for Food packaging. By changing the identity to Bardot, Landor were able to design luxury packaging for their brilliant ice cream creation and give the product an elegant, as opposed to clinical, feel:

These “loffle mich!” (enjoy me with a spoon) Cakes in Jars from Createam Werbeagentur GmbH took 3rd in the same category:

Pearlfisher took two awards, one for each of their studios, but I particularly liked their New York Studio entry (which came 3rd in Bath, Beauty and Health) for Help remedies, a nice bit of word play on the brand name makes a simple and practical solution:

I love JWT‘s solution for Smirnoff Caipiroska which came 1st in the Spirits category allowing you to ‘peel’ the label and creating a daring, initially unbranded, bottle:

JWT  (along with Manajans) took another first for their Miller Boombox solution, luring customers into buying 3 packs of beer to complete the set:

More lovely alcohol packaging now from Boldincreative Pty Ltd. which took First in the Wine & Champagne category for using a simple hole punch system to demonstrate the exclusivity of this Bold & Brave Port:

Stranger & Stranger‘s Dearly Beloved wine packaging came in 2nd in the same category for their gorgeous skull illustration designed to attract the younger wine drinkers:

Some lovely examples of how great ideas can be translated into well executed design.

  1. Great examples of innovative designs. Shows what you can achieve when you think outside the box! A products packaging doesnt have to be the same ol’ same ol’. There are so many ways a company can entice the consumer, and these have definitely shown how!
