A few days ago the Design Week Award winners were announced, I was pleased to see the Comedy Carpet up there along with this great Almost Extinct calendar created by The Chase for the BBC Wildlife Fund.
I first saw this brilliant campaign when it won a 2011 D&AD award and I think it’s one of those campaigns that needs no explanation. It’s such a simple idea but it really brings home (literally) the reality of the situation.
There was also an interactive calendar to support this print version where you could find out more about each animal, but sadly it seems as though this stopped along with the BBC’s involvement with the BBCWF. More details can be found here. A real shame when they had a campaign this good!
